Cultivating your Divine Virtues with 10,000 Buddhas

Join Amanda Giacomini, yoga teacher and street artist aka 10,000 Buddhas for a weekend of yoga woven together with wisdom stories from the Buddhist traditions. Each session will begin with an ancient mythic tale filled with wisdom and deep teachings that will inspire us to connect with our own divine qualities of Patience, Wisdom, Generosity, Strength, Compassion and Loving Kindness. After listening to each story, you will be guided through breathing exercises, yoga movements, mudras and mantras to help you deepen your understanding and embody the teachings.

Workshop Details
Bernard Center on WMU's campus
Kalamazoo, MI

Saturday: Vegetarian soup & salad lunch is available for $10.
(You will be invited to pre-order lunch via e-mail if you register for the weekend.)
Sunday: Fruit and energy bars are available for snacking.
Hot & cold water available throughout all of the sessions.

Please bring/wear your layers as the temperature in the room is unpredictable.
Please bring your own yoga mat(s), bolster, strap, 2 blocks, 2 blankets,
a journal if you want to take notes and any other props
that you use to support your body and your practice.
